Hand Dyed TOUCH OF ANGORA
WOOL AND ANGORA lace weight yarn

This is a fine lace weight wool that can be knit single, or double or triple strands. It is a softly spun yarn that if you are going to knit with it single strand you should be careful as it can break. It also can be used with a mohair strand for strength and the fiber will wrap around the angora wool yarn.  Another option is to put it with a yarn like rayon viscose to give it strength.
A customer let me know that she used it on a knitting machine and it  worked fine on the machine but did not look great when she took it off  but after washing it she was amazed at how lovely it was. Single strand lace shawls need to be blocked for
 shaping.

 50 gram / 4200 yard skeins  $4.95

This lace Shawl was designed and machine knit
by Marg  Potter of Thunder Bay, Ontario, It took less then 100 grams and the finished size 31" long and 72" wide. It is a really beautiful pattern. Marg has agreed to take inquiries on her design at marbil@tbaytel.net

Because these colourways are so similar that the difference would barely show on line I suggest that you tell me in the comment section of the order page if you are going to use the skeins together in a single project, and whether you would like the skeins to have more green, more turquoise or more purple and I will pick skeins that are closer together in colours.
