Why we have a few favourite
yarns that we keep in stock.
My favourites are yarns that respond to a certain need. For example;
Zephyr is a wonderful wool and silk yarn for lace knitting available in a
good range of great colours. We are considering carrying in future the
same yarn in a DK weight for sweaters. King Cole mohair is a reasonable
priced variegated mohair that has a good selection of colours. Briggs and
Little offers a full range of wool products from 1 ply sock yarn to bulky
weight sweater coat yarn. We don't have the full range in stock but can
easily order any of their yarns for you. I really like the great colours
that come in the Sari Silk and Sari Mix and I like the idea of it being
made in a co-op in Tibet. Plus it is fun to work with and knits up
quickly.
We just added a new yarn that we are sure will become a favourite of ours
and yours. The hand dyed luxury yarn from The Clever Cat which comes as a
kit.
