Return and Refund
No return on books, patterns, special orders, needles, hooks or on left over yarn from kits. It is our aim to have satisfied customers so on all other items we will gladly refund your purchase price minus shipping costs if you are not satisfied. Arrangements for returns must be discussed prior to returning and return shall be by surface postal only.  For customers outside of Canada you should write on the customs form "return merchandize" or customs will charge me taxes on goods coming into the country.

Shipping & Handling
Cost of shipping is based on "actual cost" as determined by the weight of the parcel, the size of the parcel and the destination of the parcel.  We try our very best to ship within 2 business days. If we are unable to do so we will notify the customer when we will be able to ship. We do not charge for handling.
Shipment method
All parcels mailed to an address in Canada will be sent by Canada Post expedited service and all parcels mailed to the US or International are sent by surface postal unless other arrangements are made with the customer for another method of shipping (i.e. air, expedited, courier)
Postal service to the USA. We ship Expedited Parcel USA  unless the parcel is under 1 kilo in weight which would go by the cheaper small parcel rate.

General Information

Measurement:
The weight of yarn is given in grams. There are 28 grams in 1 ounce.
Measurement scale in Canada is metric but we try to accommodate our American customers by also giving yardage, and listing US needle sizes.

We are a Canadian business registered as a Sole Proprietor in the Province of Ontario and we sell internationally.

Prices and Exchange Rates
 Prices are quoted and charged in Canadian Currency and if a customer wishes to pay by credit card the amount will be charged in Canadian currency. For goods shipped outside Canada  the customers' credit card company will convert the amount to US currency on their monthly statement.
American visitors benefit from the position of the Canadian dollar which result in greater buying power. (your dollar goes further). There are no taxes on goods shipped outside of Canada.

Newsletters
We send out a newsletter every couple of months to keep you up to date on what is new, what is special or on sale and what is coming. It's a short one page e-mail  newsletter because we know you would rather be knitting than reading newsletters but we also know that sometimes we need a reminder that it is time to go back and check out what is new and exciting on our web page so this will, we hope nudge your memory.
