Grand River Yarns

Issue # 68  Nov 11, 2009

Hi .
Boy oh boy has it ever been a busy Fall. Can't seem to get caught up. I sold a lot of the yarn that I took to the shows and have yet to find time to check the web site and take off yarns that have been sold nor have I had the time to get all the new yarns that have been hand dyed listed on line. I want to get it all done before I sent out a Newsletter but I finally decided that I wanted you to see the new yarn that I got from the Fleece Artist. It is called Nyoni and is a sock yarn but I would be using it for scarves as well, It is 65% Merino, 20 % kid mohair, 10% nylon and 5% silk.  It is also only $12.95 for a 125 gram skein.

I also promised to get the Angel yarn that I had at the shows on line but it is sold out and the Fleece Artist has sold all she had as well. Sorry.

I have managed to get one of the new yarns, Brigit, on line for you to see. It is 71%  linen and 29% rayon blend that knits about a sports or DK weight. I wound the skeins before dying into 225 gram /1/2 lb (640 yard) skeins so that you have enough in one skein to make any number of projects. These had dyed Linen large skeins are only $24.95 while they last.

You receive your choice of one of four very nice tote bags free when your spend a hundred dollars. Click here to see the totes.  This offer will stay in effect until we run out of the totes.

We really appreciate it when you post something on a knitting website about us or when you pass our web site address on to friends, coworkers and family. Word of mouth is still the best way people can learn about us. Thanks for your support.

Warmest regards, Rochelle
